Hello! Hi, I'm Som, a NYC based artist who hand paints colorful nature art and patterns. My work reflects a very vibrant and whimsical - boho inspired style. I've been a painter since I was 6 and a bit of both - self taught and tutored. I absolutely love what I do and it shows in my work! Some of my favorite themes to paint are flowers, animals, birds, food, and quirky random objects. I dabble in watercolors and acrylics, and enjoy bright, bold colors and textures. My work is mostly spontaneous brush strokes with little to no sketch, as I feel this brings out the inner artistic expression to the fullest. My designs make eye catching and exquisite pieces, be it on a phone case, a tote, wall décor, clothing, or any other functional item.
